Badger Snow & Landscape

About Badger Snow & Landscape

The Menomonee starts small up here, a marshy thread north of the village that in January reads as nothing but a white seam across a white field. Badger Snow & Landscape is already moving by then — plows out, lots opened, driveways cut down to the pavement before the village has its lights on. Winter clearing is the entire trade: pushing, stacking, and treating the ice on walkways so a doorstep stays a doorstep and not a hazard. The cab is warm, the windshield keeps fogging, the radio is low, and one property at a time comes open. By seven, half of Germantown drives out onto dry blacktop without ever knowing who made it that way.
