About Fred Bear Lawn Care

Friesland borrowed its name from a province of the Netherlands, and the little Columbia County village still sits among open farm fields beneath a broad, uninterrupted sky. Fred Bear Lawn Care works both ends of the calendar here. While the grass is growing that means mowing and trimming, laying down even stripes that look sharp against the cornfields past the last houses; once winter takes over, the mower gives way to snow removal. The hush after an overnight snowfall, with the village still asleep and the fields glowing blue at dawn, is when an open driveway matters most. Summer or winter, the aim is the same: a property that plainly shows someone is minding it.
