LAWNIN A'ROUND

About LAWNIN A'ROUND

On a July afternoon the breeze off Friendship Lake carries the smell of cut grass clear across town, and some of that is LAWNIN A'ROUND's doing. This is sand-country turf — quick to dry, quick to brown — and keeping it green takes attention as much as horsepower. Mowing on a regular rhythm, trimming tight along fences and mailboxes, edging the walks so the lines stay sharp: the details are the job. Yards here run right up against pine shade and lake light, and each one gets cut to suit its own ground. What's left behind is simple and good — a lawn you want to walk into with bare feet.
