Roufs Tree Service

About Roufs Tree Service

Frederic sits in sugar maple country, where the Gandy Dancer runs north along the old rail bed and October turns the whole village orange for two good weeks. Roufs Tree Service keeps those maples in shape, pruning out deadwood, trimming crossing limbs and opening a crown so wet snow has somewhere to go besides down onto the trunk. Removals come for what has died standing and for anything shading a roof that should not be shaded. Polk County weather can hang ice on a branch overnight, and the next morning is spent clearing driveways and lifting limbs off a porch roof before anyone can get to work. What remains is a lawn beneath a tree that will still be standing when the sap runs again.
