About A+ Environmental, Inc.

In Fort Atkinson the Bark River folds quietly into the Rock, and the yards that run down toward that water come on fast in a wet Wisconsin June. A+ Environmental, Inc. keeps them in hand — mowing on a steady route, trimming close around fence posts and mailbox stakes, running the edger until the line between turf and concrete reads plainly from the street. The cleanups come in their turn: the matted gray of April raked open so the green can get up through it, the last armload of leaves carried off in autumn. It is ordinary work, and it shows plainly — a yard that looks cared for on a Tuesday, not just before company comes. Fort Atkinson first, then the farms and side roads running out toward Jefferson and Helenville.
