Simple Mowing

About Simple Mowing

On a summer evening the light comes off Lake Waubesa low and gold, and the lawns near Lake Farm Park take it beautifully once they have been cut. Simple Mowing does what the name says across Fitchburg — mowing on a regular turn, trimming the edges, clearing the clippings and the seasonal debris. Winter puts the same trucks on driveways and walks with plow, shovel and salt, opening a path before anyone needs one. Ground near the water drains slowly and freezes early, so both jobs get a little more interesting down there. The aim is unglamorous and exact: a straight cut in July, an open drive in January.
