About Pagel Services

Fennimore rides a ridge in Grant County, and everything up here arrives with the wind — summer heat, October rain, and the first hard snow of the year. Pagel Services works that ridge through all of it, mowing and trimming lawns under a farm-country sky that runs to the horizon in every direction. In town, where the little Dinky engine sits as a reminder of narrow-gauge railroading, they keep yards square along the wide streets. When winter crosses the ridge, they hitch the plows and open driveways and lots before the roads to Lancaster and Boscobel even wake up. Big sky, steady work — the two suit each other.
