About Yard Effects Landscaping, L.L.C.

Three rail trails meet in Elroy, and the old grades that once carried trains through these hills now carry cyclists past the town's front yards. Yard Effects Landscaping, L.L.C. works those yards through the growing season — mowing, trimming, and edging the lines where lawn meets sidewalk until they read as clean as a tunnel mouth on the Elroy-Sparta. Summer here is green climbing every ridge above the Baraboo River, and a fresh-cut lawn holds its own against all that wild slope. When winter closes the trails, the crew turns to snow, plowing driveways in the dark so the valley wakes up already open. It is simple work done with care, in a town that knows the value of a clear path.
