About Sugar Creek Landscaping

Sugar Creek runs west of Elkhorn through low pasture ground, slow and warm in August, steaming under its banks in January. Sugar Creek Landscaping takes its name from that country and works both ends of the calendar there: mowing, trimming and edging through the growing months, plowing and opening drives and walks once the weather turns hard. A storm in this part of the county can lay down six inches overnight and then push it sideways across open ground until dawn. Getting a driveway cleared before the household is awake is its own quiet accomplishment, and it happens all winter. In July the same property gets a straight edge and an even cut. Elkhorn and its neighboring towns make up the route.
