About AT Lawn & Landscape

The old rail line out of Elkhorn is crushed limestone now, running east toward Burlington under a long green tunnel of trees, and on a June evening the light comes through it sideways and gold. AT Lawn & Landscape works the hours on either side of that light — mowing, trimming, edging, tending the beds and borders that give a yard its shape. Walworth County soil grows grass generously once the rains come, which means the real skill is rhythm: cutting at the right height, at the right interval, so a lawn thickens instead of struggling. A finished property here has a certain hush to it, the mower gone quiet and the edges reading crisp against the drive. That is the result worth chasing, week after week, from the first green flush to the last mow of the year.
