Lake Weed Wranglers

About Lake Weed Wranglers

There is a mist that sits on the Walworth County lakes at six in the morning in July, and the yards that run down to the water are cool and heavy with dew while the rest of Elkhorn is already warm. Lake Weed Wranglers works those hours on shoreline and inland lawns alike — mowing, trimming close along the edges, keeping the grass thick where foot traffic wears a path toward the water. Lakeside turf takes a beating from sun, sand and constant use, so the care has to be steady rather than occasional. By eight the mist is gone, the mower is loaded, and a yard that gets used all day long is ready for it. Simple work, done early, in one of the prettiest corners of the state.
