About Hurthscape LLC

Midnight in January, Elkhorn under streetlight, and the snow coming down is that fine dry kind that squeaks underfoot and blows off the drive as fast as you push it. Hurthscape LLC works those hours: plowing drives and lots, clearing walks and entries, laying salt where the sun will melt and the night will refreeze. Nobody stands at the window to watch it happen — the whole idea is that morning simply arrives, the drive is open, and the day goes ahead as planned. There is a real pride in that invisibility, in a cleared apron of pavement showing dark under the porch light at six a.m. Winter here is long enough to be taken seriously, and it is.
