Baumhardt Sand & Gravel

About Baumhardt Sand & Gravel

Eden sits in open Fond du Lac County farm country at the edge of the Kettle Moraine, and when a northwest wind gets moving there is nothing between it and the roads but corn stubble. That is drifting country, and Baumhardt Sand & Gravel knows it from both ends of the business — hauling and moving material all year, then putting that same heavy equipment to work on snow when the storms come through on Highway 45. Big machines matter here; a drift that swallows a driveway needs a loader, not a shovel. Lots get pushed wide, drives get opened deep, and sand goes down where the ice wants to win. When the wind finishes and the roads around Eden are still passable, somebody made that happen.
