About Tamarack Landscape Design

In October the tamaracks on the low wet ground outside Eau Claire go gold and then bare, the one conifer around here willing to let go, and the whole valley shifts key. Tamarack Landscape Design spends that stretch on cleanups — leaves off the turf, borders cleared, a last cut that leaves the lawn short and even under the snow to come. Through the warm months the work is mowing, trimming and edging on a rhythm that keeps a yard reading level from the street. Grass in this part of Wisconsin gets a narrow window and uses every hour of it, which makes the timing of a season's first and last visits matter. The aim is simple: a yard composed in June and put away right in November.
