April along Lake Hallie is a season of its own: gray ice going soft, plow banks shrinking down into gravel, whole lawns showing up again with a winter's worth of debris on them. L3 Landscaping meets both ends of that — the cleanup that clears the mess, then the mowing, trimming and edging that carry a yard through to October. When the light gets short again the trucks change over to plowing, opening drives and walkways and putting ice control on the slick spots beside the step. Working a place year-round means learning where the water runs and where the drift always forms. The yard stays usable in July and the driveway stays open in January, which is really the same job twice.
