Faupl's All Seasons Service

About Faupl's All Seasons Service

South of the city, past where the streets give out into Lowes Creek country, the ground runs sandy and quick to dry, and a lawn out there earns every inch it gets. Faupl's All Seasons Service works those yards on a mowing rotation set by the weather rather than the calendar, trimming fence corners, edging walks and driveways clean. Spring begins with grit and matted thatch left behind by the plow banks; the cleanup takes that off and lets sun reach the crowns again. By late October the job is leaves and last cuts, the yard put to bed short and tidy ahead of the first hard freeze. There is a plain pride in it — pulling away from a place that looks looked-after.
