About CMS Property Professionals

The shops along Altoona's highway frontage open at six, which means the lots have to be clear by five. CMS Property Professionals runs the overnight side of winter here — plowing parking areas, cutting clean lanes to the doors, clearing sidewalks and entryways, and salting the approaches where meltwater refreezes after dark. A Chippewa Valley storm often comes in two acts, a heavy evening band and a windy overnight one that fills in everything already pushed back. So the trucks go out twice, sometimes three times, and morning arrives looking like nothing ever happened. Altoona anchors the route, with Eau Claire, Lake Hallie and Chippewa Falls close at hand.
