Gavers Pavers, Inc. runs snow work through those weeks — plowing driveways and lots, opening walks and steps, and spreading salt on the slick spots where a grade holds shade all day. Hill country makes its own problems: drives that hold drifts at the crown, aprons that glaze over after a thaw, banks that have to be pushed back before the next storm has anywhere to go. The work is done with the shape of each property in mind, so the cleared space still works for parking and turning around.
