About Klessig Tree Services LLP

January is the working month in this part of Vilas County. The cranberry beds outside Eagle River lie sealed under ice, the swamp roads freeze hard enough to carry a truck, and stands that cannot be reached in August sit a short walk across solid ground. Klessig Tree Services LLP uses that window for removals back in the black spruce and tamarack, then spends the softer months pruning yard trees, trimming what shades a vegetable garden, and cleaning up after wind comes through the balsam along the Nicolet edge. Winter cutting is quiet work, since snow takes the sound and the tops land in powder instead of on sod. Come spring the lawn is unmarked, and the tree that worried the owner all year is a memory and a stack of split rounds.
