R&K Lawn Care & Snow Removal

About R&K Lawn Care & Snow Removal

February settles hard on the Driftless valleys, and the cold that slides down off the ridges after midnight is the kind that turns wet snow into a lid. R&K Lawn Care & Snow Removal answers it with plow work through Dickeyville and the roads around it, opening driveways, cutting back the ridge the county plow leaves across the end of them, then clearing the walks and steps that come after. Ice control gets its own attention here, because a south-facing drive can run water at two in the afternoon and glaze over by five. A seasonal arrangement means the truck comes without a phone call, which is the whole comfort of it during a long storm. By the time the sky goes blue and hard over the bluffs, the pavement is already dark and dry.
