About Earth Development

Four in the morning on a De Pere business lot is a wide, blue, empty thing, and it has to be open by seven. Earth Development takes that hour — plowing lots and drives, clearing entries and walkways, spreading ice control before the first cars turn in off Lawrence Drive. In the growing season the same properties get mowed, trimmed and edged, with spring and fall cleanups to move winter's grit and autumn's leaves back off the turf. Snow arrives here in every temper: fine and dry in January, wet and heavy in the shoulder months, and each kind pushes differently. The work is finished when nobody notices it — clean pavement, clear walks, an ordinary morning.
