About Bigelow Landscaping

Out past the last streetlight in Darien, the fields go on until the sky takes over, and whatever the weather is doing, it does it all at once and everywhere. Bigelow Landscaping works both halves of that year: mowing and lawn care when the Walworth County corn is knee-high and the grass grows faster than anyone can keep up with, and snow removal when the wind comes across the open ground and lays drifts along every fenceline and driveway. There is a particular satisfaction in a winter morning here — the blade down, a clean black driveway opening up behind you, the farm lights coming on one by one across the flat. Come summer the pride is in the line: a lawn cut straight and even, edges crisp against the sidewalk, the smell of it hanging in the warm evening. Same ground, same attention, two very different kinds of weather.
