About Nicks Lawn N Snow Pros

When a lake-effect band sets up over the shoreline, Cudahy can wake to six inches nobody's forecast mentioned the night before. Nicks Lawn N Snow Pros is out in it by four, working drives and walks off Layton Avenue so the first shift out the door doesn't have to dig to reach the car. Plow, clear the step, salt the apron, move on — the whole point is that nobody has to think about it at all. When the ground finally lets go in spring, the same trucks come back with mowers and the routes turn green again. Two seasons, one street, the same people either way.
