About J.W. Kolp Tree Service LLC

Cudahy is a city of narrow lots and long alleys, where a maple planted in the terrace a couple of generations back now reaches over the roof, the garage and both neighbors at once. J.W. Kolp Tree Service LLC takes those trees down the only way they can come down, in pieces, rigged and lowered, nothing dropped that has not first been aimed. There is pruning as well, and trimming to pull weight off a limb that has been arguing with a service line since spring, plus the cleanup after an east wind off the lake settles the argument for everybody. Fog climbs up over Sheridan Park on May mornings and lingers in the side streets until noon, and the work starts before it lifts. What the neighbors notice afterward is everything still standing: the fence, the hostas, the garage they were braced to lose.
