About Mascaretti Tree Services

Follow the Peshtigo River north out of Crivitz and the cabins begin, set back in hemlock and white pine, a two-track for a driveway, the flowages glinting between the trunks. Mascaretti Tree Services works that country: removals close beside a cabin roof, trimming that opens a view down to the water, pruning that keeps a hardwood growing away from the porch instead of over it. Marinette County storms build fast above the falls and leave limbs across the two-track and hung on the power drop, and clearing that tangle fills a good share of some summers. A job here ends when the lane is passable, the brush is gone, and daylight comes through the canopy the way it used to. October rewards the effort, with the river visible again from the deck and the yard cleared down to bare needles.
