About Crivitz Gravel Inc-Bartkowski

Marinette County roads run long and quiet between stands of pine, and in winter they hold snow the way a jar holds water. Crivitz Gravel Inc-Bartkowski turns to plowing when the season closes in, opening driveways, yards and lots, setting banks back from the edges, sanding where the grade calls for it. Up here a storm can drop a foot overnight and then blow it around for two more days. Clearing a long wooded lane so a truck can come and go is unglamorous work and deeply satisfying once it is done. The Peshtigo country does not forgive an unopened driveway in February.
