About Aspen Tree Care LLC

In Crescent the woods never really stop at the property line: red pine and paper birch stand at the edge of the driveway, and the yard is a clearing somebody keeps on purpose. Aspen Tree Care LLC thins for light, prunes what has grown over a roof, and removes the pine that has started leaning the wrong way toward a bedroom window. Northwoods trees tend to fail in one particular fashion, where a heavy March snow loads the crown, a top snaps, and the broken piece hangs there waiting, which is exactly the storm damage cleanup that should not be attempted from a stepladder. Between the lakes west of Rhinelander the ground stays soft and the driveways run long, so care on the way in matters as much as care up in the tree. The measure of it all arrives in July: open sky over the moss, breeze off the water, nothing overhead worth a second look.
