Schmidt Lawn Care

About Schmidt Lawn Care

The Old Abe Trail runs right through Cornell, and in September the cyclists coming off it pass block after block of yards going gold at the edges. Schmidt Lawn Care tends those blocks from the first green flush of May to the last leaf drop — mowing, edging along the sidewalks, raking down the fall cleanup until the lawns sit tucked in. This is a small mill town where people know whose yard is whose, and Schmidt treats each one like it will be looked at, because it will. The result is the kind of tidy a passerby notices without knowing why.
