About Furman Bros, LLC

You can find Clinton by its elevator, standing up over the rail line with black fields running out from it on every side. Furman Bros, LLC works both halves of the year that flat country hands out — summer mowing, trimming and cleanups while the corn is climbing, then winter plowing when the same open ground throws drifts across every drive in the village. There is a plain pleasure in a lot cleared to the pavement at six in the morning, and a different one in a lawn cut arrow-straight on a still July evening. Clinton sits close enough to the state line that weather arrives with a running start. Meeting it in either season is the work.
