Barwick Lawn Care

About Barwick Lawn Care

Clear Lake raised Gaylord Nelson, the man who started Earth Day, and it shows in how this Polk County village regards its green places — lawns, ballfields, the shaded blocks around the school. Barwick Lawn Care tends a share of them, mowing village yards through the long bright days of a Wisconsin June, trimming along sidewalks and garden edges, raking out beds when the maples let go each fall. It is small-town work at small-town scale: know the yard, cut it right, wave at the porch. A well-kept lawn on a Clear Lake side street is its own quiet argument for the place. The rounds run through the village and out to the farms toward Forest and Clayton.
