About Under the Sun Lawnscaping LLC

August in the Chippewa River valley saves its best light for the last hour of the day, when the sun drops behind the bluffs and every mowed lawn in town turns the color of a ripe field. Under the Sun Lawnscaping LLC does its work in that long, generous stretch of the calendar — cutting at a height that keeps the roots cool, trimming close around the trunks and downspouts, edging until the border between grass and concrete is a single decided line. A yard in Chippewa Falls goes from wet spring ground to dry midsummer sand and back again, so the mowing pattern changes with it rather than fighting it. Clippings get cleared off the walk, the beds get their outline back, and the yard is handed over ready for someone to sit in it. Good light deserves a lawn worth looking at.
