About Patriot Lawn and Landscaping

A June morning in Chippewa Falls comes up green and unhurried, the pines over in Irvine Park still holding the cool of the night. That is the hour Patriot Lawn and Landscaping likes best: mower warmed up, dew burning off the blades, the first stripe laid straight across a yard that was shaggy an hour ago. Lawn care in this town rewards attention — the sandy patches that go pale by mid-July, the shade under an old maple that wants a taller cut, the strip along the walk that only looks right when the edge is clean enough to run a finger down. Trimming tight around the posts and the mailbox, clippings blown off the drive, lines running the same direction the porch faces. By supper the block reads as cared for, and that is the whole reason to be out there.
