Buck's Lawn Care

About Buck's Lawn Care

Some Chetek mornings start at four, after the snow has quit and the cold has gone still and blue over Ten Mile Lake. That is when Buck's Lawn Care is out pushing drives back to bare pavement and squaring the banks so a car can swing out without guessing where the edge is. Come April the ice lets go, the ditches green up, and the same work turns to mowing, trimming and edging through the short northern summer. Two halves of one year, handled the same way: get there early, leave it clean. In a lake town where winter runs long and July is precious, that rhythm is the whole job.
