About SPmowing

Every autumn, long wavering lines of Canada geese cross the sky over Chester, low enough that their calls carry across the fields. SPmowing works beneath those flights, mowing lawns in this Dodge County town through the long growing season. Out here yards often meet cropland with nothing in between, and a mown edge is the line that says where home begins. Short grass, trimmed tight around mailboxes and outbuildings, gives a farmhouse yard a finished frame beside the standing corn. When the geese are heading south and the grass is finally slowing down, a fresh cut that holds through the cool weeks feels like the season ending on the right note.
