About RealTree LLC Goatscaping

Some ground in Charlestown is too steep, too tangled or too wild for a mower, and that is where RealTree LLC Goatscaping sends in the goats. In this stretch of Calumet County farm country, goats loosed on an overgrown patch are a sight that slows traffic: heads down, tails flicking, the thicket shrinking by the hour. Goatscaping is lawn and land care at a grazing pace, quiet but for the bleating and the steady tear of leaves. Late spring is the heart of it, when brambles and brush leaf out faster than anyone can keep up. When the goats move on, what is left is open, walkable ground, cleared without the roar of a single engine.
