Burt’s lawn care

About Burt’s lawn care

Buffalo Creek loops through Glencoe slow and green, and the yards that back onto it grow like they know it. Burt's lawn care mows those blocks and the ones up the hill from them, cutting even, trimming around clothesline poles and garden fence, edging the sidewalk until the line is sharp again. Summer Saturdays in McLeod County are loud with mowers; getting a yard done right on a Tuesday morning is its own quiet pleasure. Spring starts with a cleanup — winter's sand and sticks off the boulevard — and the year closes with leaves. In between, the simple thing: grass kept at a height it can live at, week after week.
