About Gavin Landscaping Service

The first real snow usually comes to Cedarburg overnight in late November, and by five in the morning the streets around Zeunert Park are one unbroken white with the ballfields gone under. Gavin Landscaping Service is out in it — plowing drives, clearing parking areas, shoveling steps and walks, salting where the melt will refreeze by noon. The rest of the year those same trucks carry mowers instead: cutting, trimming, edging, spring and fall cleanups on a steady rotation. There is a particular satisfaction in the sound the plow makes on the last pass of a driveway, that clean scrape, and then the headlights swinging out toward the next one. People wake up to a drive that looks like the storm skipped their house.
