About Flagstone Landscaping

The old kilns at Lime Kiln Park are a reminder that this town was built out of what was under it — limestone burned on the creek bank, hauled up the hill, set into walls that are standing yet. Flagstone Landscaping carries a little of that into the yards of Cedarburg: stone edging and walkway work, planting beds, mowing, trimming and seasonal cleanups. On a cold, bright October morning, with frost still holding in the shade and steam coming off the water, a well-laid walk or a tight patio edge looks like it grew there. Stone forgives nothing — the base has to be right, the joints tight, the pitch true — which is exactly why setting it properly is satisfying. Freeze and thaw come and go, and the line stays straight.
