About ER Outdoor Services

Byron sits up on the ledge — the Niagara Escarpment running under Fond du Lac County like a buried wall — and the wind knows it, turning the turbine blades above the farm fields all year. ER Outdoor Services works both of Byron's weathers: mowing and trimming in the growing season, and plowing in winter, when that same wind drags drifts across the ledge roads faster than they can settle. Snow here is less about depth than about persistence, so the plow goes back out as often as the wind asks. In July the trade-off comes due — long views, big clouds, lawns cut against a horizon of slow-turning white blades. Service spans Byron, Oakfield, Eden, Lomira, and the Fond du Lac edge.
