Koch Kuts

About Koch Kuts

On the right wind, downtown Burlington smells faintly of chocolate, and the people who live here stop noticing it until a visitor says something. Koch Kuts works those brick-fronted blocks and the neighborhoods behind them — mowing, trimming and running the edges from May's first flush of growth, then plowing, shoveling and salting once the sidewalks go white. Summer work happens with the windows down; winter work happens in the dark with the heater roaring. Both come down to the same result: a property that looks tended when the owner pulls into the drive. Burlington is small enough that you end up driving past your own work all week.
