Baylake Landscape

About Baylake Landscape

Brussels wears its Belgian roots in red brick — farmhouses raised from local clay after the great fire of 1871, still standing square against the weather off Green Bay. Baylake Landscape works among them the whole year through. Summer means mowing the deep green lawns of southern Door County, trimming along brick foundations and lilac hedges, cleanups when the bay winds strip the trees early. Winter means plows out before daybreak, because snow off the bay arrives sideways and does not apologize. Between the two there is always a season's worth of work — and always that steady red brick to measure it against.
