About Northern Lakes Tree Service

Brule takes its name from the Bois Brule River, a cold, clear trout stream that runs north through the pines toward Lake Superior. Northern Lakes Tree Service works in this river country, keeping lawns mowed and trimmed through the short, bright summers and taking on snow removal when the long Douglas County winter takes hold. Winter here takes its cues from the big lake, and an open driveway off U.S. Highway 2 on a storm morning is worth more than gold. In the green season things grow quieter: a neat yard edged by jack pine and birch, with the resin smell of the river forest drifting through. Summer or winter, the work keeps homes in Brule ready for whatever the north sends next.
