Nate and Jackie’s Lawn and Snow

About Nate and Jackie’s Lawn and Snow

Brookfield is a town of long curving streets and deep front yards, and on a Thursday evening in June you can hear a mower two blocks off. Nate and Jackie’s Lawn and Snow works those streets in both directions of the calendar — cutting, trimming and edging while the grass runs, then plowing and shoveling out the same driveways when December closes in. A cul-de-sac cleared all the way to the curb is its own small accomplishment, especially the morning after a heavy one. So is a lawn that reads well from the sidewalk. Around here, both matter to the people who live on the block.
