Brodhead's downtown blocks keep their old brick fronts and their big silver maples, and in October those maples let go all at once. Seasons Land Care handles both halves of that calendar: autumn cleanups and leaf hauling, then plowing, shoveling and ice control from the first storm through the last gray thaw in March. Come spring the mowers come back out for weekly cutting, trimming, edging, fertilizing and weed control across the long green middle of the year. There is a rhythm to serving a small city — the same streets, the same corners, learned by heart. Doing them properly every single time is the work.
