About Haugen Lawn Care, LLC

Head out of Brodhead toward Juda and the land lifts in long green swells, dairy barns set back off the county roads, the whole valley smelling of cut hay in July. Haugen Lawn Care, LLC keeps yards along those roads and in town — mowing, trimming, edging, fertilizing and weed control through the growing season, with cleanups at either end of it. When the fields go brown and the first real storm comes across from the northwest, the same crew turns to plowing, shoveling and salting drives and walks. Green County asks you to be two different operations in one year, and to be equally particular in both. A straight mow line in August and a clean-scraped driveway in January are the same kind of pride.
