Abide R.E. Solutions

About Abide R.E. Solutions

On cold mornings the Sugar River breathes fog into the bottoms below Brodhead, and by sunrise every fence wire and branch on that side of town wears a coat of rime. Abide R.E. Solutions is out ahead of that light, plowing driveways and lots and shoveling the walks that lead to somebody's front door. Green County snow can be quiet and deep or thin and mean, blown flat across the dairy fields, and salt or ice melt goes down where the sun never quite reaches. The good part comes later, when people step outside and never think about it. Winter mornings in a small city go better when they are uneventful.
