About Wood & Sons Contracting LLC

Brantwood is a scatter of homes, farms and forest in Price County's northwoods, where winter shows up early, leaves late, and measures its snowfall in feet. Wood & Sons Contracting is a contractor that clears snow here, where many drives wind back through balsam, tamarack and birch to houses set well off the road. On a deep-winter night with flakes falling thick through the headlights, a plowed lane through the woods feels like a lifeline more than a convenience. Banks get pushed well back, because more snow is always coming and it has to go somewhere. Come morning, the way runs clear from mailbox to doorstep, and the forest stands hushed and white on both sides.
