About Michlig Tree Service

Boulder Junction wakes up over water — mist on the lakes, a loon somewhere out of sight, white pine and hemlock standing straight out of the shoreline. Michlig Tree Service works the lake properties and back roads out of town, removing pines that have died from the top down, trimming limbs away from cabin roofs and dock paths, pruning birch and maple so they keep their form through the short northern summer. Wet snow in winter and straight-line wind in July both take their toll up here; storm damage cleanup means a lane you can drive and a yard you can walk within the week. Work beside the water goes slowly on purpose, rigged so nothing lands on a deck, a boat or a garden. The right day ends with the property quiet again and more sun on the cabin than there was at dawn.
