GrassBuster

About GrassBuster

On summer mornings in Boscobel, fog off the Lower Wisconsin River lies in the streets until the sun climbs over the bluffs and burns it loose. GrassBuster starts mowing about then, working town yards while the grass is still cool and the river valley fills with light. Trimming, edging, cleanups — the growing season in this stretch of the Driftless is generous, and keeping ahead of it is the job. When the valley turns to snow, the same crew hangs plows and opens driveways before the roads to Fennimore and Muscoda are even sanded. River town, river weather; somebody has to keep the ground underfoot in order.
