About Mindham Landscapes, LLC

Blue Mounds lives in the long shadow of the hill it's named for, the highest point in southern Wisconsin, which takes on a faint blue cast when seen from far across the farmland. Mindham Landscapes keeps lawns in shape in the village at the mound's foot, where early September brings goldenrod along the Military Ridge State Trail and hazy views from the observation towers on the mound. Yards are cut and edged so they read as crisp from the street, a small, ordered green set against the looser colors of prairie and oak woods. Mowing with a view like this is its own reward, and a finished lawn here frames the landscape rather than competing with it. On an early-autumn evening, the work and the hill seem made for each other.
